British Bakery Café Contributes to London Mall Shopping Centre’s Theme

The British Bakery café occupies 200 m2 and, as a tenant in London Mall, contributes to the theme of FORTGROUP’s very British shopping and entertainment complex.

“Our first bakery-cum-café opened in 1995,” recounts Tamara Kelikh, Head of Marketing for British Bakery. “It’s no coincidence that we chose a British theme. St. Petersburg and London are very similar: it rains a lot in both cities, both Russians and Brits enjoy drinking tea and eating cake, and we both love biscuits and tasty sandwiches. Brits were invited to help to make the project a reality. Using British technology and imported equipment, with the best Petersburg specialists they created a brand which has remained successful to this day.”

British Bakery offers artistic cakes, pies, fresh pastries, breakfasts with English sandwiches, and a restaurant menu. The café naturally suits the interior of the shopping centre which is decorated in the London style.

The café can be found on the ground floor, next to a black cab and a red telephone box – the universally recognised symbols of the capital of Great Britain, built into the interior of the mall.
