February Openings

After the January lull, the tenant rotation amount in February of FortGroup sites has significantly increased, exceeding the average rate of the last four months. The area of shops and pop-up retail opened in February rests at 5,600 m2 (with 4,700 m2 opened on average per month from October 2018-January 2019).

In December 2018, M.Video and Eldorado made up the largest proportion of the total area of new stores in terms of peak rotation. They opened on the former Russian premises of MediaMarkt. The Safmar Group, the Russian market leader in electronic and household items retail, opened M.Video (2,497 m2) and Eldorado (1,576 m2) stores in the St. Petersburg London Mall shopping centre on February, 23.
This February, London Mall also saw the notable opening of Dodo Pizza, a 142 m2 thriving pizzeria in the gastronomical section, in the Carousel hypermarket checkout area.
The fashion section of the Southpolus shopping centre welcomed a famous kids wear store under Crockid brand on its third floor in February.
The Moscow flagship of FortGroup, Golden Babylon Rostokino, holds several shops, including the long-standing American jeans brand Levis (210 m2) and the Russian fur brand Kalyaev (518 m2), who are relocating due to ongoing renovation works in the central atrium.
