Have Visited the Active Leisure Park GorillaPark over Three Years

The active family leisure park GorillaPark in the Shopping Centre Five Lakes (Pyat Ozyor) has turned three: it opened its doors in October 2016. During this time, it was visited by around 500,000 fans of sports, extreme sports and entertainment.

The park consists of 4,000 m2 of attractions that are loved by parents and children alike, and some of them are currently one-of-a-kind.

The pride of GorillaPark is the Clip’n’Climb 2.0 climbing wall. It’s the only climbing wall in the city with 22 active zones that stand out not only thanks to their vibrant design, but also thanks to the wide range of opportunities that climbers can test themselves. The routes provided allow 30 visitors of any age and preparation level to climb the wall at the same time.

In 10 years, more than 20,000 extreme sports fans have ridden the RollGlider, the only zip line in St Petersburg, at a height of 10 metres.

Not only extreme sports fans, but also fans of peaceful entertainment can relax in the park. A climbing wall, downhill skiing, laser tag and bungee jumping, a rope course and trampoline hall, board games, masterclasses and training with professional sportspeople or just visiting the Gorilla’s café – there is a leisure activity for any taste.

That’s to the unique contents, GorillaPark has become a cult place to celebrate important events. In three years, over 4,500 people have celebrated their birthday in the park. More than 1,000 organizations chose GorillaPark to host their corporate celebrations.

On 12 October, the project celebrated its three-year anniversary with a large event where guests enjoyed an extreme show-programme, a big cake made from fresh bananas and chocolate fountains from the Gorilla’s café.
