As expected, January (the month of New Year celebrations) has seen a tenant rotation decrease in FortGroup sites. The total area of shops and pop-up retail opened in January rests at 645 m2, compared with almost 9,500 m2 the previous month and 1,400 m2 in November 2018.

Almost 80% of the January openings area (508 m2) is situated in the Ananas Land leisure park, which became operational mid-month in the Moscow 5th Avenue Shopping Centre. Here, children are treated to trampolines, a dry pool and mazes. Rooms can also be reserved to celebrate family events.
In January, two new jewellery shops opened in the St. Petersburg City Mall: EPL-Yakutian Diamonds (46 m2) and the Moscow Jewellery Factory flag store (44 m2). They can be found in the refurbished space of City Square, on the first floor of the central atrium.
City Square opened to the public on December 28, 2018. The next notable steps of the City Mall redesign will be the completion of the renovation of the central atrium and the opening of a fourth floor with an area of 3,500 m2; a food court with a new format to house 1,000 seats.
Among January additions is the pet-supplies store Le'Murrr in the Port Nakhodka shopping centre (St. Petersburg).
