In the second quarter, the main rotation of operators in the FORTGROUP Petersburg projects was carried out in the fashion segment and averaged 1.7%. As for other profiles, it did not exceed 1%.

The average rotation for the market of high-quality shopping centers in St. Petersburg, according to JLL, was in april-june this year at 2.7%. Experts note the largest update of the operators in the catering segment (3.4%), electronics and household appliances (3.2%). Rotation in the segment of clothing and accessories in St. Petersburg fell to 2.2%, shoes and leather -diminished to 1.4%. The significant growth of the rotation among electronics stores in comparison with the previous quarter is connected in particular with the opening of Beeline stores on the place of Euroset and DNS instead of the Computer World.

"It is likely that in the next half-year, due to the deal between Media Markt and Safmar Group, the most significant rotation on the market will be observed in the White & Brown segment (electronics and household appliances)," commented the Deputy Commercial Director of FORTGROUP, Daria Sizykh. - In general, Food & Beverage (cafes, restaurants, etc.) is one of those segments, changes in which happen more quickly and more often, new consumer habits are formed, in this case new formats are emerging and existing proposals are being revised. So, for example, it can be noted that the market is gradually reconsidering the organization of the food court zone. This item is focuses now in shopping centers.
